The site navigation helps you narrow down your product results with three parts.
1) Filtering
2) Ordering
3) Breadcrumb Listing
Filtering Results
The user can filter their product results by using the normal navigation multiple times.
Example:
1) You may click on MENS and then also click on FOOTWEAR. The product result will only be showing "MENS FOOTWEAR".
2) If you continue to use the site navigation by clicking on a brand such as NIKE, then your new product result will be "MENS NIKE FOOTWEAR".
Ordering Results
The user can order their product result in three ways (Price / Brand / Name) Price
You may order the result by price from lowest to highest and highest to lowest price. Brand
You may order the result by brands alphabetically from "A to Z" or "Z to A" Name
You may order the result by the name of the product. Example: In a product result showing "Nike Footwear", Air Max would come before Shox.
Breadcrumb Listing
The breadcrumb was created to help the user know where they are after multiple filtering. An example would show | Home > Mens > Nike > Basketball > Footwear |, if the user clicked on all four of the topics (Mens, Nike, Basketball, and Footwear).
You may go back only as they are listed. Using the previous example, if you clicked on "Nike" in the breadcrumb, it would change the filtering and breadcrumb to | Home > Mens > Nike |.
