Designer Athletic to hold Warehouse Sale for Public to give back to Churches and Schools in our Community
Research Triangle Park, NC– February 25, 2009 –
Designer Athletic, a leading online retailer of name brand shoes and clothing, announces its first Warehouse Sale for the general public to be held Thursday, March 5th through Sunday, March 8th in Durham, NC. All purchases made during March 5-8 will result in a 5% donation to a local church or school (public or private – preschool through 12th grade) of choice in our community.
For this event, Designer Athletic will have shoes up to 80% off retail prices and even better clothing specials and will feature brands such as Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Timberland and Champion. For purchases made during this sale, please comply with the following steps with the church or school of choice to receive their donation. Steps include:
Step 1: Please take the flyer along with the receipt to the secretary or office administrator of the church or school of choice
Step 2: The church or school will collect all the receipts
Step 3: Submit total of all receipts with a W-9 to Designer Athletic

Step 4: Designer Athletic will a cut check resulting in 5% of purchases within 14 days of receiving the receipts from the organization
“With the tough economy, we hope this sale will benefit members and institutions along with helping us build a stronger community presence,” says George Trantas, President of Designer Athletic.

The Warehouse Sale will be held at Designer Athletic World Headquarters at 3500 Tricenter Blvd, Suite A in Durham. Trantas says there is something for everyone at this event. “We will be marking down our already low prices on our great selection of name brand shoes and clothing including Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Rockport, Keen, Clarks, Pro Keds, Steve Maddan, Cole Haan, and much more.”
The warehouse sale will be open as follows: Thursday, March 5 and Friday, March 6 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Saturday, March 7 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM; and 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM on March 8. To learn more about the sale please visit www.designerathletic.com.
